Regional Hospice Offers Workshop on Coping with Grief on Father’s Day
“Father’s Day: After Your Dad Has Died”
Workshop Offered by Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT
DANBURY, CT –A workshop for people grieving the death of their father as Father’s Day approaches is being offered in two locations by the Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program of Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western CT.
“Holidays and special occasions often intensify feelings of grief and loss,” said Joanna DeNicola, program manager of the Healing Hearts Center. “This workshop will provide support and education for adults whose fathers have died.”
It will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Healing Hearts Center in Danbury, and on Wednesday, June 13, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Federation of Western CT in Southbury. Healing Hearts social worker Jenny Casey, MSW, will facilitate both sessions.
Thanks to the generous community support the center receives, there is no charge to participate in this workshop. Pre-registration is required.
