Golf Tournament to Raise Funds for Former Bethel Man’s Family

Golf Tournament to Raise Funds for Former Bethel Man’s Family
From the friends/family of Randy Smith–
A golf  tournament is being held to raise money to help the family of Randy Smith, who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54 this past spring. Randy was a resident of Bethel for many years, and active with Bethel’s youth sports, coaching t-ball through big leagues and basket ball for many years.  Randy was also very active in his church working with the youth and singing in their Choir. He also served as the Director of the Connecticut Art Director’s Club for two terms. He was a wonderful man who was loved by many and taken from us too soon by a terribly unexplainable illness.
His friends have put together a golf tournament to help raise money to help Randy’s wife Lisa and their two sons, Grant and Tucker, with school and household repairs, and other expenses. We are hoping to have at least 100 golfers to play in the event which will take place on September 29th.
