Bethel Library Gets Spooky With Special Edgar Allen Poe Event

The Friends of the Bethel Public Library presents the dramatic performance, “An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe,” on

Tuesday, September 25
at 7:00 pm
 
(seating begins at 6:30 pm)
The macabre tales of Poe have often been seen as a reflection of the writer himself. But what is the truth behind the speculation? Actor Campbell L. Harmon reveals Poe’s story in this  dramatic performance with readings, historical biography, and audience interaction.

For adults and students ages 12 years old and up

Campbell L. Harmon has brought the Master of  Macabre to life for audiences across America since 2009. He has worked with libraries, schools, and the National Endowment for the Arts to further historical education and spark a love of reading in young and old alike.

 

In his spare time he volunteers as a performer at the Wallingford Trail of Terror, a non-profit event benefiting local charities.
