Editor’s note: Hello Bethel Buzz readers & Happy Halloween! Many are on day #3 without power, including myself, and I know it can be very frustrating, especially with little ones at home. According to the first selectman and the office of emergency management, CL&P is working with the town crews to restore the high priority areas first such as the police, schools and senior housing. Please be patient as they work to get us all back to normal while putting their lives on the line, working in very dangerous situations. Many roads and intersections are dangerous with lights out, especially 302/58/Judd Rd and 302/Chestnut. Treat the intersection as a 4-way stop and proceed with caution! Bethel Buzz wishes to thank all of the town workers and many volunteers who work tirelessly to make our town safe. Thank you!!! ~Wendy Mitchell, Bethel Buzz owner/editor
