11/19/12 Local VFW Host Dinner for Veterans & Anyone Alone This Thanksgiving

The Bethel VFW Post 935 and Ladies Auxiliary are offering a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving day from 3 to 5:00 p.m. at their post home,  40 Main St., Bethel.  This free dinner is open to ANYONE who is alone this Thanksgiving as well as veterans and their families. Dinner will be served family style and includes turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and all the trimmings.

Richard Godfrey, organizer of the event said “It is a nice to meet new friends and enjoy companionship.”
