Yankee Mariano Rivera to Visit Frozen Ropes January 5th
From Frozen Ropes–
Danbury area youth baseball players will have the opportunity to attend a pitching clinic conducted by Mariano Rivera, New York Yankee closer, future hall of famer and Major League Baseball’s all-time saves leader on Saturday January 5, 2012 from 9:30am to 12:00pm at Frozen Ropes Danbury 69 Kenosia Ave, Danbury CT.
This event promises to be special because there is a strict limit on the number of kids attending this event ensuring attendees will have the chance to get unprecedented access to the Yankee pitcher who has saved 608 games. This is the second time Rivera has appeared at Frozen Ropes Danbury.
“We, at Frozen Ropes, are thrilled to be able to provide the area youth with an opportunity to get up close and personal with the greatest closer in the history of baseball” said Jose Fernandez, owner of Frozen Ropes. Fernandez added “It’s not often that you get to meet an athlete that is the best in the game in such an intimate setting.”
Attendees will all receive an autographed baseball from the Yankee great. The admission price of $330 entitles the player to bring one parent to the event as well. The parents are free to take photos throughout the event of their son/daughter while they are participating in the clinic.
For more information or to register for the event, please call Frozen Ropes at (203) 205-0174. We are located at 69 Kenosia Ave in Danbury, CT 06810.
